The Full Story
Started in 1993 by five local churches that desired to put their faith into action, Inspira exists to bring hope and help to women and their families in the face of challenging pregnancy circumstances. Inspira empowers women to make life affirming decisions during pregnancy. Our goal is provide all possible assistance to for our clients' needs-- practical, emotional, physical and spiritual. We offer a safe and caring environment for our clients to learn about and discuss their options during pregnancy.
Why Inspira?
After serving the community as the Center for Pregnancy for 30 years, we rebranded as Inspira Resource Center. Inspira comes from the Latin word "inhale", and also means to encourage and inspire. The tulip in the logo symbolizes perfect love, as well as rebirth. 1 John 4:18 says that “perfect love drives out fear” and we reach our clients with God’s love in the midst of their fears and uncertainty.
God's love and compassion is shown to each client served as we offer hope and help. Mothers know that we care for and want to help them, not just their babies. We encourage these woman and their partners as they consider their pregnancy options, and offer the support they need to make a life-affirming decision for themselves and their unborn babies.
